Resources for SEND
Although, we know there are many benefits to using the Internet and the Word Wide Web, unfortunately children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) are potentially more likely than their peers to suffer from negative experiences. Children with SEND are often more at risk of cyberbullying, grooming or online hate and may not have developed the necessary skills to be able to effectively deal with risks they encounter and keep themselves safe online.
A rigorous and well thought out program of learning, which is differentiated to meet an individual’s needs; ensure we are enabling a student to build resilience and develop experience; and to make sure that children know when to seek support is crucial to ensuring children with SEND are kept safe.
